Smearing a large brush across is an easy thing to do, but often the wrong thing. Most israelis are sold the dream of the Jewish state very elegantly (all paid for) and once they realise the situation – they have protested or even left Israel. The right wing government however fuel the fires and further their political agenda through their population.
The government has been playing its people for a while. With the west labeling the state of Israel as the only democracy in the middle east they come in with a very particular view of the state. However, the government has imposed serious restrictions on the judiciary to allow it to dictate its will around, which by any standard isn’t a democracy. The government is made of white supremacists
The right wing government of Israel is formed by the Likud party – Bejamin Netanyahu being the chairman. If you look at little closer, this will lead you to the Irgun or Etzel paramilitary group (Read more here). This was the group that terrorised the Palestinian people in the 1930s. As excerpt from there mission:
“The policy of the new organization was based squarely on Jabotinsky’s teachings: every Jew had the right to enter Palestine; only active retaliation would deter the Arabs; only Jewish armed force would ensure the Jewish state”
Irgun members were absorbed into the Israel Defense Forces at the start of the 1948 Arab–Israeli war. The Irgun was a political predecessor to Israel’s right-wing Herut (or “Freedom”) party, which led to today’s Likud party. Likud has led or been part of most Israeli governments since 1977.
